Morality is concerned with what is chosen. Homosexuality is not a choice. Therefore it is neither moral nor immoral, it is amoral. Staying true to your nature, however is a matter of choice. So being a a heterosexual and pretending to be homosexual or vice-versa, would be immoral.
To the OP:
If you could reason with religious people, there would be no religious people.
You need to decide whether you can spend your life with someone so irrational that even when they know that their beliefs are unjustifiable, they are not willing to examine them. If you think that whatever this relationship has to offer compensates for this, then continue, otherwise, don't.
