Typical behavior of paranoid schizophrenics and people with other mental diseases. They start taking the medication, feel better, think they're "cured" and don't need the medication any more, stop taking it, and regress back into insanity.
Not to mention giving the credit of their "cure" to God instead of the medication they're taking.
