I saw him on TV here last night I can't work out if he's a complete loon or a Democrat in disguise,being used to split the vote,to keep even bigger arseholes than Romney out of power.Seems to be working.

Caffeine is mood altering drug ( stimulant) and not at all irrational to avoid. Same with both alcohol (depressant) and tobacco,(nicotines is a stimulant,I think) both of which are poisons.

However,'unusual' dietary laws are a common and predictable feature of many sects,it's actually about cohesion of the group and feeling 'special'.
