Personally, I'd prefer someone who thinks logically with no emotion. Someone of high intelligence and someone who understands sociology. People corrupt and get corrupted. They make mistakes, they use revenge, they act irrationally and unpredictably - we have no need for that in government, and especially not in power situations.
The person I just described would be a sociopath to some, but that doesn't change their effectiveness and reliability.
If you want people who think emotionally and act irrationally, join your closest church.
