It's clear that in his choice he was attempting to attract Hilary supporters with his choice of a female and at the same time sooth the ultra conservatives by picking someone just as strong in her conservative ways as them. Do you think this will help McCain or backfire?
Here are some news articles on the matter:
The VP choice that lost the Presidency
- I tend to agree with the views here, I think the pick is more damaging then helpful.
Is Palin a good choice?
- Argues why Palin could be underestimated and help McCain
Atheist Revolution's take on Sarah Palin
- Outlines specific points on why Sarah Palin is BAD for America especially where atheists are concerned.
Palin's 17 yr old Daughter is Pregnant
-Oh the irony
In the end, I find Sarah Palin to possibly be worse than Mit Romney (and I had to endure that man as Governor of my state!) My hope is McCain's surprising choice will be his downfall. Ultra Conservatives don't favor change and even if they share Sarah's views I think they're still not ready for a woman VP who could very well be President given McCain's age. In fact, the possibility of McCain becoming president scares me more now than before he chose Palin.
I thought Obama's joke about lipstick and the pig was very hurtful.
What has a pig ever done to deserve that?
