Yep, it's funny. Godschild attacks the theory of evolution, and now we find out that he has no idea what evolution actually is. Btw, adaptations are just the baby steps that over time stack up to be noticeable evolution.

Although, I'll give him that viruses are not actually living organisms. (If that was what he was implying in his incoherent post) They're complex proteins, and they evolve over time, but they aren't technically alive.

They lack a few of the characteristics which qualify something as living- yet they reproduce and evolve, which makes them very interesting to study relating to evolution.
