Everything is subjective. A Muslim would say a Christian's beliefs were delusional and vice versa. But there is good reason to think that someone who believes that a skydaddy started this whole game for us then gave us sin, killed his own son to repent us of the sin he gave us in the first place, is delusional. Do you see why, you can go down the semantics route if you want, but a delusion is a delusion, no matter the twist you put on it. Believing in anything without evidence is delusional(unless it comes from a reputable source), religion is just one of those things, most are delusional because they were indoctrinated from birth.
And yes, I know the above paragraph is subjective.
here's a psyche definition on delusion: 2. (Psychiatry) Psychiatry a belief held in the face of evidence to the contrary, that is resistant to all reason
Is there really not enough evidence to rebuke the bible and the 6000 yr creationist beliefs, and physicists, in this country at least, where fear of persecution because of a lack of faith is a non-entity, are almost 100% atheists. Telling yourself that people who work in a particular field that they are wrong and you are right on the start of the universe are delusional.
