It shouldn't? Even if this candidate is a clear example of exactly why the process is fucked up? Agree to disagree?, lol. Definitely should have more education with regards to how our process works. Perhaps even make the process simpler, eliminate these little areas and loopholes.
Like I said before, by all means use it as an example of the system being fucked up, but don't make this issue about the candidate themselves. Any candidate can do this; that is the point that needs the spotlight.
The problem here isn't that Ron Paul is gaming the system, it is that the system can be gamed in the first place. You don't solve anything by stopping Ron Paul from gaming the system, since other people can still do it. You do solve the problem if you can prevent any candidate from ever doing this again.
