I'd say "hell" is a state of mind you enter while you are alive if you believe in such voodoo and worry over it. Once you're dead, there is no mind and no place to experience anything at all. Heaven and hell, like karma, are instant or nothing at all.
I do not worry about hell, nor do I worry about my beliefs. How do you know there is nothing after one dies. Do you have proof there is no spirit, heaven and hell, remember because you have no physical evidence they exist, does not mean they do not exist. Two hundred years ago no one had any proof the galaxies existed, now we know there are billions.
Sorry I have no positive proof that there is no spirit, heaven or hell. I am 100% agnostic so I concede the point. However, I am also 100% atheist because I can conceive of no manner in which the phenomena of consciousness that arises in our brains could possibly exist in any other manner. I'm convinced that there will nothing after death except reassignment of my organic molecules to other life forms. Many of my beliefs arise without objective evidence. So far, no beliefs in gods though.
