Yes, Hitler didn't smoke, didn't drink, was very nice to his dogs, was a venegarian, applied himself, loved his country, and then killed lots of people.
Gandhi didn't smoke, didn't drink, was non-violent, was frugle, was faithful to his wife, and was all for having the brutal Japanese army defeat the British so the world may fall to facism on the hope that India may then somehow be free.
The point is you don't know the entirely of a person's character, knowledge, and judgement from any snapshot of.
You never know a person of high character is not of high character until he actually chances to shows the low aspects of his character to you. The worst thing is for you to be blind to his low character even when he is in the act of showing it to you, solely on account of your previously formed impression.
