Sake has an alcohol content is between 9 to 16% and it is traditionally served warm,(122-131F) so the alcohol enters your bloodstream much faster than cold beer, with an alcohol content around 3-4% alcohol by volume. (but up to about 9%). Undiluted sake is around 20%,but is diluted to about 15% by adding water prior to bottling. The standard sake cup holds 180 ml and sake is sold in containers holding that amount.
