I think that's why they also claim that it takes more faith to be an atheist than a Christian.
I've seen this "evolution is a religion" claim many times, and it is not new. Just read Kent Hovind's "PhD dissertation" and you'll see it stated there many, many times, along with calls for it to be removed from schools because they only care about separation of church and state when it comes to the "religion" of evolution. I really don't know how they expect to get biblical creationism taught in schools in place of evolution if they actually managed to get evolution removed on the grounds that it's a religion.
