Unless, you don't give a shit about someone actually being guilty and just want a dead body for every crime.
A dead body for EVERY crime? No.
A dead body for violent repeat offenders? Absolutely. Stack 'em up like cord wood and light a match. You'll get no empathy from me for rapists and murderers. Most ARE guilty and the handful that are not are simply unlucky. But than again, so are the children born in the starving countries of Africa and most people aren't lifting a fucking finger for them either.
Also, I already addressed why capital crimes end up costing us more than incarceration. If executions were done quickly and with cheap bullets, and without years of appeals and attorney fees mucking our judicial system we wouldn't have to pay hundreds of millions a year to house and feed thousands of completely useless bags of refuse for the remainder of their worthless lives.
But hey, both Democrats and Republicans LOVE big expensive jails ... just for different self-serving reasons.
