If I was quoting you, I'd use quote marks. Untwist those knickers.
The point is, you are claiming the point is not legitimate because the current system is wrong.
If you propose a death penalty system instead, then you are placing the trust into a similar system, with much higher stakes.
If the system is flawed, the last thing you do is give them MORE power.
The same goes for the second point, its not putting words in their mouth, if I have to spell it out for you, I'm asking you why you would consider the death penalty a reasonable alternative in a system where corruption is rife.
The same goes for the third point, the system has been implemented in many states and countries, and nobody can point to one where it is done well. It also links into the corruption argument again.
Fourthly, communism was an analogy, and that should have been clear. I'm quite confident most people would read it as such, so I apologise if it wasn't clear to you.
The point is, you can envision a society where things sound much fairer, and I admit, there are some crimes which I feel I'd gladly put them to death as an instinctual reaction, but the fair implementation of the system, is unlikely to achieve the desired effect.
Such is the analogy with communism.
In the interests of discussion, calm down, I'm arguing my point of view, and if I quote you, I will always use quote marks.
EDIT: So that this doesn't get heated, I apologise for saying you said so yourself, it was rhetoric in nature, and I didn't realise you'd take it literally, it was purely meant as above, that you claim the system is corrupt and believe the corrupt system should be allowed to kill. I'd rather this was a civil exchange.

Self-authenticating private evidence is useless, because it is indistinguishable from the illusion of it. ― Kel, Kelosophy Blog
If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?
The f**king janitor or the dude who runs the waterslide. Throughout history every mystery. Ever solved has turned out to be. Not Magic. ― Tim Minchin, Storm
