@Jireh, as it has already been stated there are many of us who are not defined as strong atheists. At the same time for those who do take the strong atheist position please consider this example:
Someone tells you invisible unicorns exist. You ask them for evidence for the unicorns and the offer no reliable evidence. Do you know for certain the unicorns don't exist?
Since you do not know the unicorns exist but you haven't seen evidence you assume they don't exist. Are you therefore an agnostic concerning unicorns? What if someone thinks up of some random creature such as "shaquistes" (thanks law and order). At a certain point we just start becoming agnostic about anything someone can imagine up.
So although the strong atheist may seem to be making a bold claim it is no more bold than claiming to know that the invisible unicorns don't exist. This is of course assuming no evidence can be presented. For those of us who are atheists here, we have not seen any reliable evidence for the existence of gods.
I doubt you would classify yourself as agnostic towards unicorns. I know you don't think God falls into that same category but please understand without further evidence that God is equivalent to the unicorn in our case.
