secularism has not worked. time to get back to christianity in schools. I do realize that other religions exist but they are not true and lead people to sin and destruction thus they can be outlawed from the public school system.
Ahh, the good ole days. Racially segregated schools (BTW people used the Bible to support the practice of segregation). Academic tracking. Girls studying hard to be house servants and baby factories who will be completely dependent on and subservient to their husbands. Prejudice against people of other religions, races, socioeconomic status, gender identity, sexual preference (and the list goes on). Public humiliation of people with disabilities both physical, mental, and learning disabilities such as dyslexia. Archaic teaching methods. Bullying as an accepted practice to "toughen" people up. I could go on about some of the ignorant things that were taught in the classroom (things like Africans were some sort of less intelligent sub race of humans) but that would take up too much time.
Ahh, the good ole days. We should go back to them.....not.
I have studied the Bible and the theology behind Christianity for many years. I have been to many churches. I have walked the depth and the breadth of the religion and, as a result of this, I have a lot of bullshit to scrape off the bottom of my shoes. ~Ziploc Surprise
