"The atheistic way of life"? What the hell is that? Not going to church on Sunday constitutes "a way of life"? Then I guess not traveling to Europe constitutes a vacation.

Oh, boy. Here we go again. We have another brainwashed believer who thinks atheists can't have morals because we don't have "a source" (i.e. "God") to tell us what is moral.
Oh, and you really need to learn the difference between "there" and "their".
Quote:Where do they get their idea of morality from?
Well, you learn right and wrong from your parents, family members, teachers at school, etc....
Quote: Well they will not admit to it but they hijack a lot of it from the Bible
Oh, gee.... you mean stuff like "the golden rule". Yeah, this was around well before the Babble was written. As were morals. You think people ran around indicriminately killing each other before the Babble came around?
Quote:In God's eye they are not moral,
And your deity told you this?
Quote:In other words, I do not find atheists to be as moral as they claim and their words and actions bear this conclusion out. How can they say they are moral when they will be immoral when it benefits them?
Generalize much?
You want to know where I get my morals? Well, I can tell you that I DON'T get my morals from a book that tells you it's okay to keep slaves! And you seem to think that the Babble is the source for all morality. If that's true, the babble should be crystal clear and there should be no disagreements on what is and what isn't permissable. But that's not what we find at all! Believers can't agree among themselves on the morality of many things. Is gambling immoral? Some believers will say yes, others will say no. Same with polygamy, drinking alcoholic beverages, nudity, certain types of sex, homosexuality, etc, etc.... If believers can't even agree on matters of morality, why should the Babble even be looked upon as a source for it?
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.
God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?
