Right, aside from the fact that you're now just changing the subject completely, it may not be the case that acceptance of homosexuality exactly 'benefits' everyone, but I would think it benefits the homosexuals quite a bit, wouldn't you? Can you point to an example of a place where the acceptance of it has had a negative effect?
Also, what's so special about having 'ancient' examples of things? Don't you think contemporary examples would be more relevant? We don't live in the Bronze Age, so examples of things from the Bronze Age are less impressive to me than are examples of things from the world we currently live in. And in this world, secularism has a proven link with lower crime rates, better health and overall greater happiness of citizens. A cursory glance at some data reveals this, go look it up.
