#1. Their concerns can be dealt with in a different manner than usurping the democratic process and the preference of the majority. They are looking at hospital visits, inheritance etc. all these matters can be fixed without them marrying each other.
#2. Yes--perversion is never a positive and we can say that there is no reproduction thus society loses members and cannot sustain itself.
#3. Having a historical foundation provides credibility, evidence that atheists seek and gives an example of how such an issue is viewed and treated.
#4. There is no such thing as 'the Bronze Age' In today's supposed nuclear age we still have civilizations and societies living in the stone age. The 3 age system is a myth.
#5. Not really. If that were so North Korea would not be torturing its citizens, starving them and China would not be killing so many people etc. Secularism doe snot contribute to lower crime rates as those who claim to be christian yet practice evil things are not really christian and skew the findings.
Don't really get what you mean with number 1. Can you elaborate? Although if you think the 'preference of the majority' should prevail, that's absolute bollocks. What if the majority of people thought slavery should still be legal? Because they did once, you know. Also don't know what marriage has to do with anything in this instance.
2. Prove that homosexuality is a perversion. The idea that homosexuality would lead to the extinction of humans is utterly ludicrous in the extreme. Do you honestly think that would happen?
3. Historical evidence would be useful in proving the truth of your claims. It's not as useful to use as a societal model, is it?
4. Whatever. You know what I'm saying. A current example would be more relevant.
5. North Korea is anything but secular. Their emperors refer to themselves as Gods. It uses all the same tools as religion. You've also gone for a 'no true Scotsman' fallacy there. Those Christians who aren't real Christians certainly believe they are Christians, no matter what they say.
