What's even scarier is that some of those looking forward to it are secretly motivated by not wanting to face the eventural consequences of extra marital affairs (some with same sex partners) or huge credit card debt. Yes, I've known people who were fucking up like this. They really were hoping that the end of the world would happen before the shit hit the fan[/align]. Most of these people were devout Christians.
