What you did with my statement takes over half the population out of voting. That's not even reasonable to compare with what I said.

Destroying the rights of even a single individual destroys all of our rights. Keeping even a single person from his or her rights is just as bad as keeping us all from them.

Let's set something straight, I'm against gay marriage, because it is against the nature of God's idea of marriage. Marriage does not predate God it is an institution He made, and if you will carefully read Genesis you will see that gays were not included, and were actually punished.

Marriage is a social institution, not a religious one. Any argument to the contrary is simply persistence in delusion.
