The problem with your argument is your assumption that gay marriage is a topic that should be open to vote. Your very presumption of voting on it is forcing your beliefs on others.

This is exactly right. Marriage is not something that should be voted on because it's a RIGHT. We did not put freeing the slaves to a vote, Mr. Lincoln understood that freedom was a right for all, just as marriage is a right for all.

Now try and tell me genetics don't play a roll in determining sexual orientation. Another thing you might want to think about. Could you be gay if you wanted to? Think about it honestly. Could you really be physically attracted to another guy if you wanted to? I know I couldn't. That's because sexual orientation isn't a choice.

Even with that, it's pointless. Choice is still part of personal freedom. Even if you chose to be gay, it's still your right to choose.

I'm sad to say that these studies might be biased. The study in question had its sample taken from willing twins within the LGBT community, so these numbers are likely much lower.
