Seriously? For crying out loud. The brain stem relays these things! Without an area to relay them to, the baby is not aware! Fuck, if you want to go with all of the functions of the brain stem without considering the rest of the motherfucking brain, we could say these babies are completely normal. I find it pretty fucking obnoxious that I would even have to insist on a well known medical fact being correct. Ask a fucking doctor, Phil. These babies do not feel pain or become conscious.
