I'm just talking about sin in general. A lot of Christians and unbelievers alike assume one just has to say they are our sorry to be alright, but a repenting attitude in which you truly are sorry for the grievance and aim with God's help to overcome the sin is required.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.
