I'm a black female atheist. Does that mean that I get to wear a cape with an A on the front? I always wanted to be a super hero now I finally have the chance! Super Atheist...I like that way that sounds.

I never could believe the stuff I heard in church, and when I tried to it was like trying to do the impossible. The Atheist Experience show was the key factor in turning me into an atheist along with my doubts. I love when Matt Dillahunty agrue with theist.
I am also black, people tell me black atheist are rare.
I am mainly on this site to make some atheist facebook friends and to read other atheist's post.
I am 20 years old, and live in altanta, Georgia.
Hi Doc! Being a black atheist is rare. It's liberating and isolating at the same time. I can not tell you how many times I have ridiculed by my family due to my non belief. It's a tough road to travel sometimes but I would rather think for myself than believe religious nonsense just because the rest of my family does. At any rate it's nice to meet you! I live in Georgia too. I am in the Fort Valley area which is every bit as boring as it sounds.
