They clearly don't claim to be eyewitness accounts or written by Apostles. So if we replace the Gospels with HP, I think nowadays Christians think Harry Potter's 'apostles' wrote 7 books about his detailed adventures in a castle when in reality it could very well have been 1 person by the name of J. K. Rowling who wrote everything therefore the meaning of the 7 books changes drastically.
