you are describing personality traits. These are generally related to the spirit as they are influenced or learned in this life.
So if these personality traits are stripped off the soul when we die, what is left of us? No memories, no likes and dislikes, people we love, nothing? We go to heaven/hell as an empty standard carcass? Nice, it means I will not be aware of what happens.

I like this religion thing more and more, it seems no matter you do, everyone pays or gets rewarded (like communism apparently).
I have no problem sharing a common ancestor with the apes; it's being related to some people that bothers me.
