Existance is 60% of a more stable condition than non-existance. At the point of singularity, time does not exist. There is no "before" the existance of the point of singularity. Nor is there anything outside of that point. That frame of reference does not exist. The only thing that existed before the singularity was the singularity. How long did the singularity exist before it expanded? That can not be answered because time did not exist until the point expanded. We didn't get something from nothing, we got something from something. Virtual particles is something from nothing.
