lol thor. right on rhythm, he was right in that it didn't kill him - gangrene did. but yeah, there always seemed to be a good half inch of green powdery mold on it. same spoon he scooped it off with, was the same spoon he ate it straight from the jar with - then put it back in the cupboard. haha. it wasn't about affording a new one. he just didn't care (and maybe he was a bit thrifty). everyone in that house drank out of the milk jug (and we had fresh farm milk) and water jug. no biggie.

i don't always have a place to wash my hands before i eat lunch when i'm covered with black asbestos insulation many days, it hasn't caught up with me yet either. we can make it thru. lol.
