Egypt gets aid from the US and Morsi has implied he will reconsider a peace treaty with Israel if the aid is cut off. Morsi is trying to re-establish ties with Iran, which is probably not a preference of Israel or the US.
he will be sworn in, now. I think Obama has to support him no matter what, simply because of what happened with Libya. He'll give Egypt alot of leeway when it comes t human rights, but Morsi is already meeting with Iran and promising to "strengthen" ties with them. The question here is what will happen to Israel. Will the Islamic brotherhood develop a theocratic government?
There is a new country the South Sudan, there is 2 new government's, Libya and Tunisia, There are still massive protests in Bahrain, Algeria, Morrocco, Mali, Nigeria, just to name a few. Will Egypt "lead the way" regardless of what decisions they actually make??
