I assert there is no god on the basis that religions that have asserted the existence of god, or gods, have always been, with time, proven to be false orchestrations. The lack of evidence of current religions only serves to solidify my opinion that there are no gods. Not as we figure them to be. Now if you mean god as just a higher entity, do I outright say "they do not exist?" No. They may. But I really doubt it at this point.
