How so? If there is an afterlife he is in hell. If not, you will probably have led a more boring and less pleasure filled life and certainly you will both end your lives at the grave. My point is not that this shows that God exists. My point is that I can understand why one would be depressed after becoming an atheist because of it.
Oh, was that your point? Because it sounded like you were making a sweeping statement that you thought no-one could refute. It had little to do with the point that was being made.
Quote:Like someone already said. Cheer up I'm not sure how taking God out of the equation makes life any less amazing. With or without a god existence is just as impossible and infinite as it always has been. I myself am glad to be a part of that impossibility.
I see no way your statement has anything to do with what BrotherMagnet said. He's talking about a state of existence. You're talking about punishment of dictators. How do you equate the two?
And another thing, where do you get off comparing my life to Hitler's? So what, if there's no god I'm supposed to envy the material and wealth he possessed in his life? I do not believe he is burning in eternity, but in the end he was not a happy man. This is such an irrelevant argument but you're just being that completely ridiculous.
You really believe in a man who has helped to save the world twice, with the power to change his physical appearance? An alien who travels though time and space--in a police box?!?
