The best way to get a teenage boy to do something is tell him he musn't. So naturally I read the bible cover-to-cover. I remember being bored by the begats,pleasantly surprised by "The Song Of Solomon" and thinking the author of Revelations must have been on acid.
I do have recollection that for years the catholic church wouldn't allow the bible to be printed in any language other than Latin for fear that the masses would discover what a load of rubbish it is.
People like Godschild prove their fears were baseless.
