They seem to be persisting under the delusion that the problem people have with them is that they hold a position that is markedly "traditional" or "conservative." That's not really the issue at all (at least insofar as I'm concerned); they can have whatever backwards beliefs they want. The issue for me is their monetary support of organizations that work to disseminate anti-equal marriage propaganda and that actively attempt to fight against equal marriage as though it's an issue that they have a right to decide on. It's an issue of basic civil rights, and it shouldn't even be up for debate.
Yet here we sit.
