But I know what's coming up, so, inb4 "god's truth." I love how you talk about "how you'd have to prove [x]" and then start hinting at something that cannot be proven or disproven. Contradictions, hypocrisy, yadda yadda I'm tired of this dance, how many more thousands of times do we have to deal with this?
As you can plainly see for yourself, I capitalize whatever word I fancy deserves the emphasis of personification. If that is disagreeable with you, then you'll just have to settle with being discontent?
Nonetheless, I wonder what you have to say about the content of my post exactly? I've noticed your comment about "having to prove". But you seemed to have misunderstood me on that, which is why you've fallen head-first in the trap of philosophical epistemic questioning. What was being referred to by "having to prove", was the fact that one would have to reconcile within themselves the validity of their own actions. Which is why I included that parenthetical adjunct to the phrase, something that you for some reason omitted.
The point being, for those of you not clear on what I'm saying, is that unless you convince yourself that one's sexuality is not important, then sexuality for you will be important. Anything that is important to the point that exceeds frivolity can no longer be said to be secular, any more than human rights is a 'secular' ideal.
