As of last night, Australia had ONE gold medal (none in swimming)
The hatchets are already out,blaming the coaches and the athletes' 'attitude' and ' lack of discipline'. One athlete said all that needs to be said,in my opinion "we were beaten by a better side"
The churlish attitude being displayed in our media makes me want to throw up,reinforcing my disinterest in the Olympic Games since they were professionalised. I like to watch the ice skating, gymnastics and ski jumping for the aesthetics,not the competition.

Tangent ; These game are the first in which a double amputee has competed against able bodied athletes. He is going to be SO rich, whatever happens.
