I believe that we should respect others beliefs

Fine,but I do not. 'Should' is a moral value which I do not share in this instance. My respect is earned,and may not be assumed or demanded.

I wouldn't understand why anyone would disrespect someones belief. It really does not make sense to me.

I have only contempt for some of the loopier religious beliefs and superstitions,and especially those used to justify harming/supressing others. EG treatment of women in some Muslim countries, male and female circumcision,suicide bombing and [any] war.

Argument from incredulity/Lack of imagination

Arguments from incredulity take the form:

P is too incredible (or: I cannot imagine how P could possibly be true); therefore P must be false.
It is obvious that P is true (or: I cannot imagine how P could possibly be false); therefore P must be true.

These arguments are similar to arguments from ignorance in that they too ignore and do not properly eliminate the possibility that something can be both incredible and still be true, or appear to be obvious and yet still be false.
