Responding to your more recent post DP, you assume wrong. I'm not a member of the Tea Party....although I do notice the hypocrisy and the double standards from the naive elitist pompousasses on the looney left. The left is quick to point out and criticize all those horrible extreme 'eccentricies' like flag waving, patriotism, and love of country,...but when extremes, like rape, rioting, burning and vandalizing private property, assault, drug use, attacking police are coming from far left anarchists like the 'Occupy Wall Street' terrorists you guys are silent.

This is a bullshit generalization. Not only does it imply that silence equals endorsement — it doesn't — but I personally have been a tireless critic of the Occupy movement, to the point of being called "ignorant and nasty" for my views. (At of all things a philosophy roundtable about non-political issues.) And while I'm not necessarily progressive or liberal, I'm certainly not conservative. (And I recall that after that meeting, my fellow philosophical soulmate who is in fact a liberal democrat voiced similar opposition to the Occupy movement.)

I said the left is quick to berate all those so-called horrible 'eccentricies' of the Tea Party like flag waving, patriotism, and love of country but are silent about the crimes committed by far left anarchists like the OWS terrorists. I'm not at all implying that everyone on the left supported the ones who committed those crimes. I'm simply pointing out that the left is blinded by their own hatred, hypocrisy, and double standards.

I'm just curious. Are you as outspoken against anti-abortion terrorists as you are against Occupy Wallstreet terrorists?
