The fairness of the doctrine that the accomplice is as guilty as the primary offender has been subject to much discussion, particularly in cases of capital crimes. A guy who is blazing away is even more than an "accomplice".
Oh well there you go. Then why are there so many guys shooting the one person. That's just overkill...
