It wouldn't for me neither. Especially given the NDAA indefinite detention possibility and the 6th amendment's 'speedy trial' guarentee has also been ignored in Bradley Manning's trial. Not to mention he can be arrested by the military and put in a military kangaroo court as soon as he enters the country.
