While I am a little weirded out that people are stabbing people in faces and holding them down in this thread, I do disagree with the woman's sentiments.
I honestly don't mean to be inflammatory or anything, but what about this is new enough to make you blow your top and go all gangsta? She is not anywhere near the first nor will she be the last to espouse these values. She thinks abortion is murder. It doesn't necessarily mean that she thinks the rape victim is not a victim. Of course, I disagree with her on the point of murder and on the point that rape victims should not have abortions. However, say you saw a fetus as a full-blown person from conception. You would feel the same way. It doesn't necessarily excuse them, but I certainly do not think ignorantly assuming abortion is murder and then believing said murder should not take place is something worthy of face stabbing. Let's say that a fetus was a fully-grown human. Once you had sex, this fully-grown human appeared as a Siamese twin for nine months, would you advocate abortion if it meant killing that person? Of course, it is ludicrous, but these people see the potential for human life as human life. Misguided and foolish, sure, but not an altogether hateful position. At least, I don't think it is. That is not to say that she actually believes that. She could just be spouting the usual rhetoric to fit in with her cronies.
