lol?
Thom...gods are very often ascribed a gender....Whether or not that means that a god actually -IS- a certain gender, or what gender means to a god, is laregly irrelevant, as you yourself have so adeptly pointed out- because they do not exist. Reproduction and sexuality are not interchangeable with gender, nor do they have any bearing on each other in and of themselves. If a god is refered to as "He", it is a he, if it is referrred to as a she, it is a "She".

Oh - more nonsense - I just love the jokes in this group
Gender is indeed based on sexual function - to say that they do not have any bearing on each other is juvenile or comical or tragic - depending on your age
If you look at the Greek or Roman Pantheon of gods - it is clear from the very beginning who is a male and who is a female based on their physical "equipment".
A "he" has male organs - and a "she" has female organs
THERE is NO place in the BIBLE or the Koran which shows a female god - which renders the idea of the god being male superfluous - the god is an "IT" - ie - neuter. In the xtian faith - there is existence of a son - without the prerequisite "mother" - if they were sexual beings.
They can call "IT" whatever they want - that does not make that characteristic true
Have you ever thought of learning French, all the las and les I'm sure you'll find it very stimulating with your views on sexuality.
Meanwhile, I had a very spiritual relationship with a ship, her funnels were something else.
