As far as I'm aware,there is no credible evidence one way or the other.

A couple of things make it very hard for me to believe in an afterlife;

(1)So far,nobody has ever actually come back

(2) There is no consensus about exactly what survives death. Most commonly,people seem to think pure awareness or the personality. These are both qualities of the mind,which is dependent on the living brain.( based on the evidence of which I'm aware)
