They never mentioned it to me. I think they assumed I was already Jewish. I mean we were only there for 2 months one in the beginning and one at the end so I never got to see/do any of that.
Yeah, Judaism is a little different than other religions where you can start practicing and you're in. If you told people you're Jewish and you went to services they probably just thought you were. It's not like they take surveys or anything.
