High school sucked. I was suspended from school the first day of my sophomore year because my hair was dyed blue. Despite the fact that there were other students who had green and orange hair, I was the one singled out. Luckily, my mom worked for a law firm and got one of the lawyers to send a nasty letter to the principal with a vague threat of legal action.
I had "turn or burn" fliers stuffed in my locker at least a couple times a week. The baptist kids had an actual black list of people they weren't allowed to speak to, which I was on. Not that I minded this too much, but it was still weird to walk through the hall and say "Hey!" to someone and have them turn around and totally ignore you.
Everyone hates high school. If you don't hate high school, then that's going to be the high point in your life, which is sad.
