Who are your teachers?
Most homeschoolers nowadays undergo standardized testing and coordinate with a local school. I don't remember all the details and it's different in each state.
Homeschooling is mostly done by the mom. Though in a few cases I've seen some families have the dad do the teaching. My house had a large "school room" with several desks, dry erase boards, and a library of books. Me and my mom would sit at the desk together for most of the day following a school schedule.
