Au contraire; I have been using LG products for a decade.(DVD players mainly) My first plasma was an LG. It is now 5 years old and still works fine. (I gave it to my sister)
I have no beef with the product;the fault turned out to be minor,which could happen to any set. My complaint is with the company,for not meeting its obligations*,and for what seems to be unethical and probably illegal behavior.THAT is why I will make my video venting my spleen.
*My perception, and that of our consumer watchdog (which has no actual power) is that LG is in breech of our consumer legislation. I explained that to LG,and they simply ignored it,giving the impression they were doing me a favour. I suspect LG management is a bit out of touch about the power of social media.
I would not have become so angry had they not first agreed to pay for parts.
