You have to take into account the emotional harm that these religions do aswell. That is a MASSIVE problem with Christianity aswell as Islam. Both religions are used to justify some really evil shit. Islam just gets in the news far more because people think it is more of a problem.
So let's be perfectly honest. You are saying that if you count the death tolls in today's world, there'd be no difference in Islamic killings when compared to another religion, say, Christianity? Do you REALLY believe that?
Do you guys even see how reluctant you all are to condemn the real menace in today's world? I'm not targeting Muslims in general but I'm saying the world will be a better place if Islam had not existed. Of course it would be good if all religions hadn't existed but if you can pick ONLY one religion, it's got to be Islam. It's the single most destructive belief system on this planet today.

OK, my plan is actually quite good. In the end, nobody gets hurt. It's the only way you can reform even the most diehard Muslim extremist without hurting him. My plan is not really violent. It's not more violent than the demolition of a building - they've done that in London too. Nobody gets hurt and EVERYONE, all the Muslim extremists will suddenly just turn over a new leaf. They'd laugh at themselves for wanting to strap bombs on their bodies. We can all laugh over the past and we know that nobody is going to kill anyone any more. Cartoonists can draw whatever they want and Rushdie can write Satanic Verse Part 2 and even the Ayatollah will read his book and chuckle with Rushdie over a pint of bitter. And guess what??? Greneknight will be awarded the NOBEL PRIZE FOR PEACE. Woots!!!!!!!!
