And what have they said to me? That Christianity does more harm to people than Islam?
I think I know what the problem is here. The first thing LastPoet said to me was if I had a bone to pick with Rayaan. At first I didn't understand what he meant and then it became clear to me.
The general etiquette here is we shouldn't say bad things about Islam because Rayaan is a nice guy and he's Muslim. Any attack on Islam is immediately seen as rudeness to Rayaan. I seldom see posts by Rayaan but whenever he posts anything, he is really inoffensive and pleasant. And I see him as a wonderfully helpful kind of chap.
But being new here, I naturally did not associate Islam with Rayaan. Plus I am politically incorrect so while I acknowledge that Rayaan is a wonderful guy and I'm fond of him, I can't help speaking the truth - that Islam is the most destructive religion on this planet today and if it's eradicated, the world would be a much better place.
So, an attack on Islam will bring the defenders of Rayaan to the fore. But we should be rational people. I am quite prepared, as I have done, to say that Christianity is full of superstitions and can cause a great deal of harm too. The peak of Christianity's harmfulness was during the Middle Ages and it lasted for a very long time. But here is where you guys will immediately turn a blind eye to what I'm going to write but I'll write it anyway - in today's world, Islam is the most harmful religion.
OK, the rude boy will stop here now and all you guys can heave a sigh of relief. Let's now turn to Christianity, the "safer" religion to denigrate.
