Atheism is a vat of regurgitated horse turd, liquefied and main-lined by atheists

lol jk.
Been keeping tabs on the Muslim riots story, curious how two different values interplay on the issue of free speech versus sacrosanctitude (look it up. im kidding don't i made it up).
The overall theme seems to be, at least in the west, "Free speech ought to be respected". CNN is even reporting on Muslims who believe this. No defense of the other position, no favorable reporting of it.
So we all agree! Free speech, even if it's offensive!
But how willing would we be if it were offensive against things we cared about? After all, isn't the true measure of the value of free speech measured by how we preserve it when it offends us, rather than offends others?
It's easy to say you respect free speech when you're not being inconvenienced by it.
But if you truly respect free speech, you will be willing to tolerate inconvenience and insult yourself. Not others.
And that point should, I believe put the thread title into a little perspective. Do you value free speech enough to hear that? Do you value free speech enough to blaspheme atheism?
What about blaspheming your family and friends? Your values? Your nation? Yourself?
How much do YOU value free speech?
